Due to the recent pandemic, garden rooms have had meteoric rise in popularity. We have completed a myriad of projects of varying sizes and uses, from gyms to home offices.
From modern, green-roof cedar boxes with bi-folding doors to traditional outbuildings on listed buildings. Garden rooms can be constructed to either stand out or blend in.

Case Study : Woodlands
As with lots of people during the recent pandemic, this family realised they needed a nice quiet home office, away from their busy home.
Through our design partnership with New Forest Architectural Services, we secured planning, building control approval and constructed this modern style home office and garden store.
To help the building blend in, it was finished with vertical cedar cladding.
The hidden gem of this project was the Sedum Green Roof which has a multitude of benefits including managing rainwater runoff; boosts the thermal performance of the building (helps keep the inside nice and warm!) and is brilliant for the environment by encouraging biodiversity in the area by creating natural wildlife habitats.
Case Study : Ashurst
When we started building the clients house, they decided they needed a garage.
Once again, our design partnership New Forest Architectural Services secured planning permission and building control approval for a traditional, oak fronted double garage with rear store.
It works perfectly with the house and blends in with the surrounding forest by using locally sourced timber feather edge cladding … the National Park’s favourite!
Due to the proximity of the Oak tree’s, a specialist piled raft was constructed to protect and limit damage to the protected tree roots.
